From ancient Mesopotamia to present day New York, civilizations have flocked to different water masses as a means of survival The ability to access a large body of water allows for trade and transportation to flourish. During the Suez Crisis, Britain, France, and Israel invaded Egypt to gain control of the Suez Canal and retain their positions as the main powers in the volatile region. In this committee, you will be simulating the crisis at the start of the canal nationalization of 1956. You will have to work with your fellow countrymen, representing the Nation of France, as well as the numerous ambassadors of fellow nations, embroiled in this affair. Prepare to immerse yourself into the political, economic, and military affairs of nations in the 4 corners of the globe, as you attempt to pacify, or aggravate, the situation at hand.
